What is rong with my car?

hay yall i have a 2001 dodge stratis 2.4 dubbel over head cames ok well it started out that my timming belt slipped well we fixted that we tryied to star it and found out that the cole was not fireing well got a used one out of a junk car that my dads friend had so we put that in and it still did not get fire so dad sade it could be the crank sencer so got one of them and still did not get fire....so dad took his spark tester to it did not work but put it on the wire that run to the cole getting fire evrey time i turn it over so i dont know should i get a nother cole or if u have eany other suggestions pls tell me.....thanks for your help...
