Why does my dog keep farting?

omg! ugh i know! my dog is getting older and he farts all the time. So gross! When he gets off the coutch he keeps his back feet on the coutch and his front feet on the ground and stretches liek that and he lets out a wooshing sound and then it just sticks! So gross! ii dont know how to fix it though
