What does gay have to do with pulling a trigger?

Honestly, I'm being serious about this. What does your uality have to do with firing a gun at the enemy? Alexander the Great was gay and he conquered most of the known world. J Edgar Hoover liked to wear dresses but he caught a bunch of Nazis and Commies. Frankly, I don't care if the guy next to me in the fox hole is gay so long as he keeps his weiner zipped and keeps killing the bad guys. And since when does the Military Br ask their subordinates how they 'feel' about their policy? Last time I checked, being in the military meant everyone followed orders. If the order came down that we will have gay soldiers and there will be no funny business or else you'll be thrown in the brig then that's the rules. Forget this polling stuff. I'm pretty sure if you polled American GI's back in WW2 about how they felt about serving with black soldiers, I'm pretty sure the numbers would be extremely high against having blacks in the military. But that didn't stop Roosevelt and Truman from integrating the army. This is pretty much the same kind of deal. The rest is politics and pandering.
