What causes obsessive infatuation?

I'm infatuated with this guy and the signs clearly point to obsessive infatuation. I'm just wondering, why him? I read online that chemicals in the brain cause infatuation, but why would this only happen to this one guy and infatuate me with anyone else? Does he release certain chemicals that just so happen to attract me?
